Rotsen Participates in Miami Design on a Dime

This year, Rotsen Furniture, is beyond grateful to have been featured as a participating donor in the Design on a Dime Miami yearly fundraiser put on by Housing Works. Approached by Interior Design firm, Get Decorated, who is based out of NYC but also works closely with interior design projects in Miami, asked us to provide a unique and eye-catching furniture piece to act as a main staple in their design vignette and we knew instantly that this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Our Mango Wood Coffee Table (seen here with steel legs) was top contender since the organic shape and natural wood qualities are versatile enough to look great in any space! We absolutely could not say no to participating in this fundraiser with such a wonderful cause and are privileged to help raise funds in any way possible. The combination of design and fundraising together is just the cherry on the cake.

Here’s How it Works:
Design on a Dime, founded in 2004 by Designer James Huniford, challenges interior designers to create unique room vignettes curated with donated merchandise from well-known home decor brands and artists. All merchandise in these one-of-a-kind rooms is then sold at charitable prices to design-savvy attendees. In 2016 Housing Works grew the event nationally expanding it to Miami, Florida for the first time. 2016 also marked its most successful year: Raising a combined $1.5 million in support of the Housing Works’ mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS. Since its inception, the event has raised over $12 million. With two locations, Miami, and New York, Design on a Dime will bring together an estimated 100 interior designers, over 500 top home decor brands, and nearly 6,000 guests.
